Design is how a product works, how it looks, how it is interpreted, and how it is cherished. It is how it delights, inspires, and plays with its users. It brings about a sense play, discovery, and problem solving that cannot be easily quantified.
As human beings our state of mind greatly affects our ability to problem solve and affects our productivity. The little extras the little polishes the little movements pixel by pixel are what makes content easier to understand and easier to remember later on.
Attractive things make people feel good, which in turn makes them think more creatively. Making it easier for them to find solutions to the problems they encounter.
Creating emotional attachment in a design, as temporal as it may be, can be one of the best ways to spend your time. Don’t be afraid to give your site a personality. Personality is the platform for emotion.
